Thonglor has recently welcomed a cozy German cafe that is situated at the back of Panjit Building. Glück is a Berlin-style café offering healthy food including a lot of vegan dishes(Has vegan cheese), house-made cakes and specialty coffee. Worth noting is that meat options are available as well upon request. Christina Grawe, one of the owners of Glück, follows a ”no junk” rule, hence the menu avoids artificial additives and unnecessary sugar. With a range of lovely coffees for the discerning palate, Glück offers four types of milk: almond milk, soy milk, low-fat milk and organic milk.

Glück, which means happiness and luck, is the inspiration of German co-owner Cristina Grawe. It’s a destination that is perfect for mums as it sits out of sight at the back of Panjit Building. Even children are catered for with a special play area complete with a ‘kid’s kitchen’ and babycinos!

An excellent choice, at least in our opinion is the wonderful range of soups, They offer 4 different soups:- tomato, cashew, Italian herbs, nutritional yeast (vegan)- carrot, ginger, coriander (vegan)- goulash soup, beef, onion, bell pepper, champigon- on the kids´menu: pumpkin, sweet potato (vegan).
Or try their fresh German Bretzels, served with butter or creamcheese-herb-dip. They also have their take on German “Breakfast-sushi”. You can also tuck into the range of gluten free cakes, German sunken apple marzipan cake, vegan gluten-free brownies, carrot cake, vegan banana-walnut-bread, vegan vanilla sour cherry cake and Grandma’s apple crumble!

The cafe feels roomy with plenty of space to find your own quiet nook. It feels airy with plenty of let being let through and a view to a unique piece of Thonglor greenery
